Brisbane Riverview Hotel announces partnership with TW Fine Art

In News
The Brisbane Riverview Hotel played host to an exclusive TW Fine Art exhibition during December. The start of the special collaboration was marked with a bespoke light installation on the property’s exterior overlooking Kingsford Smith Drive.

Playing to the hotel’s strong art credentials, the innovative light installation was created by the US-based artist Elise Lee, which lit up the property’s façade for both guests and passer-bys to enjoy.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Takashi Murakami, Lee’s pop-inspired work created bright, oscillating stylised shapes that danced across surfaces, emerging and disappearing in explosions of colour and form.

To complement the dynamic installation, an exhibition of Elise Lee works from TW Fine Art is being hosted in the light-filled foyer space of the Brisbane Riverview Hotel until December 20. The showing adds another layer to the contemporary art focus of the hotel, led by resident curator and well known New York gallerist, Suzanne Geiss.

Commenting on the partnership with TW Fine Art, Brisbane Riverview Hotel General Manager Brett Whicker says the collaboration is a natural extension of the hotel’s passion for contemporary works, aligning with Tove Langridge’s innovative work with some of the world’s finest artists.

“Art is an integral part of the Brisbane Riverview Hotel and is reflected in almost every aspect of the property, the result of a curated collection of works from post-pop inspired emerging and established artists. For us, it’s about offering something a little outside of the everyday for guests, and we are very excited to be widening this offering with our special exhibition during the busy December period,” says Mr Whicker.

To mark the partnership with TW Fine Art, Brisbane Riverview Hotel have launched the bespoke Suite Art package*, created for design and art aficionados.
