View Brisbane is around 7km from Brisbane Airport — a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic. We can arrange airport transfers for an additional fee — email stay.brisbane@viewhotels.com.au in advance to coordinate. Taxis and rideshares are readily available at the airport.
View Brisbane is in Hamilton, around 6km from the Brisbane CBD — a 15-minute drive, or a scenic ride along the river via the CityCat ferry from Bretts Wharf, 200m from the hotel. Buses run directly into the city from Kingsford Smith Drive outside our front door.
Check-in is from 3pm. Check-out is by 11am. Early check-in or late check-out can be requested when booking, subject to availability on the day. Luggage storage is free during your stay if you arrive earlier or want to explore Hamilton after check-out.
Yes. On-site parking is $20 per car, per day, subject to availability. We strongly recommend pre-booking online — the entrance is to the left of the hotel entrance, with a 2-metre height limit. Pre-booking guarantees a space; walk-up parking is not always available. You can prebook here.
Yes. View Brisbane welcomes dogs through our Pooch Package — and is the only View Hotels property with a pool to enjoy after a long walk. Bookings must be made in advance. Email stay.brisbane@viewhotels.com.au with your dog’s name, breed, and weight at least 24 hours before arrival.
Pet stays are accommodated in selected room categories — please request when booking. Email stay.brisbane@viewhotels.com.au to confirm available rooms and arrange the Pooch Package. Family Rooms are particularly suited to travelling with both dogs and children.
The pet fee at View Brisbane is $120 per dog, per night, on top of your room rate. Booked direct, you can add the Pooch Package at booking — which includes the fee plus extras. Email stay.brisbane@viewhotels.com.au with your dog’s name, breed, and weight 24 hours before arrival.
Breakfast at Plates Restaurant is included in selected rates and available as an add-on for all bookings. Add breakfast at a better rate when you book direct, or include it in our Stay & Dine and Staycation packages. Plates also serves lunch and dinner, with full Brisbane River views.
Three venues. Plates Restaurant serves modern Australian dishes with Brisbane River views and an extensive wine cellar. Chester’s Bar is the lobby drinking spot — relaxed, comfortable, all day. Poolside is a space to swim and relax with tropical atmosphere, guests can order drinks and food via QR codes. All open to non-residents.

Most rooms face either the Brisbane River or the leafy suburb of Albion. River-facing options include River Vista, River View Executive, River Spa Suite, and the top-floor Hinkler and Kingsford Smith Suites. For the best river views, book direct — we’ll confirm the floor.
Direct gets you 15% off our best rate as a View member — and an extra 10% off stays of two nights or more. Membership is free to join. You can also add breakfast, parking, room upgrades, and the Pooch Package at booking.
Cancellation policies vary by rate. Flexible rates allow free cancellation up to a set window before arrival. Non-refundable rates are cheaper but locked in. We’re in Hamilton, on the Brisbane River. Eat Street Northshore is 1km away. The Bretts Wharf CityCat terminal is 200m from the hotel for a scenic river ride into the CBD or South Bank. Doomben and Eagle Farm racecourses are nearby. Fortitude Valley, the Gabba, and the CBD are all 10-15 minutes by car or ferry.
