This New Year’s Eve, we’re bringing the celebrations to two of our favourite spaces, both with views across Sydney Harbour. Join us on the open-air terrace of Deck 17 for an all-inclusive party, or settle in at LB’s Restaurant for a relaxed buffet dinner.

An all-night extravaganza
This New Year’s Eve, View Sydney hosts an all-inclusive party on Deck 17, our outdoor space looking directly over Sydney Harbour. Taking cues from the world’s most colourful streets, the night brings panoramic views of Sydney’s fireworks, free-flowing drinks, global street flavours and sets from some of Sydney’s best DJs.
The view
Deck 17 sits high above Lavender Bay facing directly at the Harbour Bridge, so the fireworks go off in front of you rather than somewhere in the distance. You’re in it, not watching it.
The food
Global street flavours served all night and included in your ticket, taking cues from the world’s most colourful streets. Most dietary requirements can be catered for.
The drinks
Free-flowing local and international beer, red and white wine, sparkling, Prosecco, soft drinks and juices, plus a full cocktail list: Aperol Spritz, Gin & Tonic, NYE Sangria and frozen margaritas. All included.
The music
Cadell and James Mack on the decks from the moment doors open, building all night and holding the floor long past midnight.

What’s included in the ticket price?
Everything except extras bought at the bar. Your $750 covers entry to Deck 17, unlimited street food served all night, free-flowing beer, wine, sparkling, Prosecco, soft drinks and juices, a cocktail list including Aperol Spritz, Gin & Tonic, NYE Sangria and frozen margaritas, and DJs all night.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 7pm and the package runs from 7pm until midnight, with the event finishing at 12.30am. We’d suggest arriving early to settle in before the crowd builds.
Where exactly is it?
Deck 17 at View Sydney, 17 Blue Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. It’s a short walk from North Sydney station.
Is it seated or standing?
It’s a stand-up party event. There are tables and seating available on the terrace, but they’re limited and not allocated with general admission tickets.
What happens if it rains?
Nothing changes. Deck 17 is an outdoor space held under a fully covered marquee, so the event goes ahead rain, hail or shine.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Most dietary requirements can be catered for. Please let us know when you book, or tell our staff on arrival.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes, the event is strictly 18+. Please make sure everyone in your group carries valid proof of age.
Can I bring my family?
Deck 17 is 18+, but Dine at View is a separate New Year’s Eve event inside LB’s Restaurant with a harbour view table. Ticket availability is coming soon.
Do you have accessible tickets?
Yes. Please contact our events team at festive@viewhotels.com.au before booking and we’ll arrange it.
What’s the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable unless under extraordinary circumstances. If the event is cancelled, all ticket holders receive a full refund.

What’s included in the ticket price?

What time does it run?
Doors from 6.30pm, with the evening running through to 12.30am on 1 January 2027.
Is it seated?
Yes. This is a seated dining event in LB’s Restaurant, with buffet service.
Can I bring children?
Yes. Children aged 6 to 12 are $345, and children under 5 dine complimentary when seated on a parent or guardian’s lap and don’t need a ticket. Note that Deck 17 is 18+, so under-18s can’t go up after 10pm.
How is this different to the Soirée?
Dine is a seated, indoor, all-ages buffet dinner in LB’s Restaurant. The Soirée is a stand-up outdoor party on Deck 17, strictly 18+. Dine guests can join the Soirée from 10pm.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Most dietary requirements can be catered for. Please advise our team when booking or before you arrive.
What happens if it rains?
Nothing. LB’s Restaurant is indoors, so the event goes ahead rain, hail or shine.

Anything else to know?
View Sydney takes responsible service of alcohol seriously and guests are expected to drink responsibly. No refund can be offered if a guest is asked to leave due to intoxication or anti-social behaviour.
